He was a son of Stephen Trigg(1768-1834)and Elizabeth Mary Clark(1772-5/04/1822) who where married on Jan. 25, 1789 in Virginia. Stephen had come to Kentucky in 1794 from Bedford City, Virginia where his father, Colonel John Johns Trigg(1748-6/28/1804) and grandfather William Trigg(5/19/1716-1773)had helped settle.

This may be part of the confusion. I do not have any documentation for all of these children right now but hope to work on it. The last four kids listed without dates may be Fannie`s and Stephen`s. They where reportedly married in 1825.
Christopher`s father Stephen came to Howard County, Mo. in 1818 and many of the kids followed. Stephen died in Saline County, Mo. in 1834. More to follow!
