Our Stotler correspondent gives an account of the death of Mrs. John Swanson, which occured at her late home Sunday, May 1. She was 57 years of age; lived in this county a good many years, and had many friends. Funeral services were held in the Fager schoolhouse Monday afternoon. Mrs. Swanson was a half sister of our former townsman John Ogden. The Public Opinion unites with the many friends of the bereaved family in extending the heartfelt sympathy of all.

Mrs. Nellie Swanson died at her home in this neighborhood last Saturday night at the age of 67 years and 8 months. She had been sick for two weeks with pneumonia. She leaves an aged husband and two brothers, John and Charles Ogren, besides may friends to mourn her loss. The funeral occured Monday afternoon, Rev. C.P. Melgren officiating.
