John Swanson died Tuesday of pneumonia at the home of his brother-in-law, John Ogren, who lives west of the city. The funeral occurred Thursday at 10 o'clock a.m., from his late home. Interment was at Stotler.

John Swanson, aged 83, died Wednesday at the home of his brother-in-law, John Ogren, north and west of town. Mr. Swanson was one of the old settlers in that vicinity. Some years ago Mrs. Swanson died, after which he sold his farm and returned to Sweden. No being satisfied there, he returned here a year ago and has been living at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ogren.
The deceased leaves one son. The funeral was held Thursday at the Fager School house where burial also took place. Mr. Swanson was a reputable citizen and had many friends. He was an earnest worker and consistent member of Swedish Mission church at Stotler.
