Samuel R. Wilmeth
Funeral services for Samuel Robert Wilmeth, 26, of Houston, son of Mrs. E.W. (Jewell*) Roberts of 4209 E. 16th, will be this afternoon at the Niday Funeral Home Chapel in Houston.
Burial will be in Pearland, Tex.*
Mr. Wilmeth, formerly of Amarillo, was killed Tuesday in a traffic accident in Houston.
He attended Humphreys Highland School and James Bowie Junior High School here. Mr. Wilmeth moved to Houston and attended high school there before joining the Navy in 1957.
Survivors, besides the mother, include his father and step-mother, Wallis and Helen Wilmeth* of Houston; step-father, E.W. Roberts of 4209 E. 16th*; sisters, Mrs. Adrian Cervantez of 2916 Manhattan, Mrs. Walla Kay Walters* of Pasadena, and Miss Honey Wilmeth* of Houston; brothers, John R. of Deer Park, Roger D.* of Houston, W. Wesley* of Houston, D. Brian* of Houston, and W. Kelly* of Houston; a stepdaughter, Ronnie of San Diego; and grandparents, Mrs. Clyde Ridling of Cordell, Okla., and Mr. and Mrs. R.H. Wilmeth of Sentinel, Okla.
