This year the PH Sheridan Camp #2, Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War, conducted research and found nearly 50 Civil War Veterans without markers. New ones were obtained from the Department of Veterans Affairs. This private marker was purchased by Camp #2 funds and set on April 28, 2018 with help from the Joliet Central JROTC members.
