Jeanne L. Bartz passed away peacefully at the Milwaukee Catholic Home on Friday, November 22, 2013. She was 91 years old. Jeanne is survived by her niece, Miriam Bartz, her nephew, Joseph Bartz, and his wife Kathleen Reese. She is also survived by her nieces Jane Lindsay and Debbie Ketterling, married to Cordell Ketterling, and by her nephew, Don Lindsay. Jeanne was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Bartz. Jeanne's parents were Esther and Harry Lindsay. Her brothers were John K. Lindsay and Robert H. Lindsay, married to Meryl Lindsay. For many years, Jeanne taught reading classes at the Milwaukee Area Technical College. The family of Jeanne Bartz would like to thank the staff of the Milwaukee Catholic Home and of VITAS Hospice Care for the superb care that Jeanne received at the Milwaukee Catholic Home. Jeanne's family especially wants to thank Donna Sylvester, Jeanne's great friend, for the many years of support and care given to Jeanne. There will be a service for Jeanne at Holy Cross Cemetery (7301 W. Nash St.) on Saturday, December 7, 2013, at 11:00 AM. Please meet at the cemetery office.
