He was born April 18, 1930 in Berlin, Germany, the son of the late Oscar and the late Anna Klimm. He was the widower of the late Catherine Dammann Klimm; she died July 5, 1990.
He was an Army veteran and served in Germany. He was a volunteer with the Pike County Senior Citizens in Blooming Grove, Pa. and was a member of St. Jacobi Lutheran Church, Shohola, Pa.
He had worked at Hometown Cleaners and later at Wilder Mfg. both in Port Jervis.
He is survived by a son, Steven Klimm and his wife, Julie of Colorado Springs, Colo.; daughter, Heidi Kovacs of Allentown, Pa.; son-in-law, Joseph Kovacs of Allentown, Pa.; fiancee, Christine Menza of Goshen; four grandchildren, Jason and Kevin Kovacs of Allentown, Pa., Matthew and Amy Klimm of Colorado Springs, Colo.; also several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by two brothers, Oscar and Gerhardt; and a sister, Charlotte Banzhof.
