Miss JULIA ANN HAMILTON, only surviving member of her family died at her residence on West Franklin Street at 10:30 o'clock yesterday morning. She was the sister of the late Governor Wm. T. Hamilton and was well known and much loved in the town in which she had always lived. She died in the house in which she was born.

A sad circumstance surrounding her death was that she had looked forward with so much pleasure to the marriage of her nephew, Mr. William T. Hamilton and Miss Mary V. Jamison, which will be solemnized at St. John's Protestant Episcopal Church today at noon.

Miss Hamilton will be much missed in Hagerstown's social life, as during her long and active career she was always interest in all that was going on, and was the friend of everybody she chanced to meet. She enjoyed her entire life and always manifested a deep interest in the events of this world.

She was the last surviving member of the family and had been ill for about eight weeks.

She is survived by the following nieces and nephews, children of the late Governor Hamilton: Mrs. Percy Maxim, Harford, Ct.; Mrs. H.H. Eames, Cleveland; Mrs. James T. Briscoe, Miss Leonor Hamilton, Richard J. Hamilton, and William T. Hamilton, Hagerstown.

Funeral will take place Wednesday from the house; interment in Rose Hill in Hamilton lot. Pallbears: A.B. Almony, J.V. Jamison, Coleman Rogers, Ernest Hoffman, Samuel M. Shafer, Harry B. Irvin, A.R. Hagner and R.J. Halm.
