Mrs. Eldon Pixley died in Red Deer Municipal Hospital on February 13 1939 following an operation. She was born in Frontenac County, near Kingston, Ont. in 1876 and was in her 66th year when she died. On June 17 1895, she was married to Mr. Pixley in Kingston & in 1902, they came west to Hill End district, which was their home until 1910. They purchased their Parkvale home that year and since that time, Mrs. Pixley has spent her time between the farm and town, most of it in the later years in town. She was a member of the Presbyterian W.M.S. and of the east group of the Presbyterian Ladies Aid and in her Hill End days, she was a member of the Penhold Women's Institute. She is survived by her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Charles F. Parker, and two sons, Miles, on the Hill End farm and F. E. (Ted), Red Deer. A. E. & W. A. Cuddy of Pine Lake, were brothers. She is buried in the Red Deer Cemetery.
