Mrs. Anna F. Nelson, 75, who resided with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Charles A. Nelson, 1816 9th St., Rock Island, died at 1:25 this morning in St. Anthony's Hospital.
She had been ill the last six months.
Services will be at 3 Monday afternoon in Knox-Larson Funeral Home, Rock Island. The Rev. John A. Melvin, pastor of the First Lutheran church, Rock Island, will officiate. Burial will be in the family lot in Memorial Park Cemetery, Rock Island.
Friends may call at the funeral home after noon tomorrow.
Mrs. Nelson was born Nov. 2, 1883, in Hamrange-Gastrikland, Sweden, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Berglund. She came to Moline in 1914, residing in Moline, Davenport and Rock Island most of her life. She resided in Rock Island 29 years.
She was married to Axel Skeppstedt in 1903 in Sweden. She later was married to Charles J. Nelson Dec. 23, 1934, in Peoria. He died in 1939.
She was of Lutheran faith.
Surviving are her daughter; a son, Axel Skeppstedt, Cottage City, Md. and five grandchildren.
