Priscilla (Brank) Vance was born in 1756 in Rowan, North Carolina. She married 21 September 1775 (some sources say 21 Aug) to David Vance, Sr. They were the parents of Jane, Sarah, Samuel, Priscilla, Elizabeth, David, Robert Brank, and Celia. Priscilla died 1836 in Weaverville, Buncombe, North Carolina at 80 years of age.

Priscilla’s grave is unmarked, as are the graves of Robert and James Noel, but she is resting next to her husband. The marking in Riverside was built to memorialize four of the family members buried in the Vance Cemetery."∼There is no marker, but officials at the Gov. Zebulon Vance Birthplace across the street said Priscilla is buried in the cemetery with her husband, David, and son, David Jr. A Marker for David was placed by the DAR, but David Jr.'s original marker still exists.
