Mrs. Fisher was born April 16, 1912 in Stanton to Carl J. and Hilda A. Requist Malmquist. She was a 1930 graduate of Red Oak High School and married Altis (Oak) Fisher in Stanton, August 27, 1939. A homemaker, she farmed with her husband southwest of Red Oak before moving to Red Oak in 1972. She was a member of the Red Oak Monday Club and a 51 year member of the Happy Hour Club. She was also a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Red Oak.
