Fallen Graver
Sadly, Sharon....still seeking has passed away. Please consider visiting their Find a Grave memorial page and leaving some virtual flowers. Their enthusiasm for cemeteries and willingness to help future generations lives on through their contributions to Find a Grave.
Bio
My name is Sharon and I have been searching genealogy since the early 70's. My favorite pastime is wondering through cemeteries. I have found many ancestors in this way. My greatest thrill is to find new information. I will continue to update cemetery information as I receive.
Some of the names in my line are Popejoy, Meador, Roberson, Milton, Holland, Gill, Gilbert, Tucker, and Skiles to name a few.
My husbands family names are MOHRMANN, UTSEY, HEISE,YOUNG,GARMON, MUELLER/MILLER, WILLEKE, SHIPMAN AND LAMPLEY.
My photo's are there to be used, just please give me credit for them.
It does upset me when the officers of Find a Grave pass my work on to others without my knowledge. If for some reason you fail to respond to what they feel is a timely manor they simply give your memorials to whom ever asks. There is nothing to be done about it after the fact.
Oh well even with that said I think the FAG site is very useful in linking families of our past.
There are so many people willing to lend a hand to preserve the past. Thank you all. Together we can make a difference.
