David Lawrence Blome, 56 of Scottsbluff, died Friday, July 9, 2004 at his home. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date in the Oregon Trail Memorial Cemetery at Bridgeport. Cremation was held at Sunset Memorial Park Crematory in Scottsbluff. David was born March 9, 1948 at Scottsbluff to Eugene and Vera (Suhr) Blome. He graduated from Chadron High School and Chadron State College. David had been employed as a Conductor with Burlington Northern Railroad and was currently employed with Grease'n-Go in Gering. He is survived by three sons, Thomas Blome of Lincoln; Vince Blome of Fremont and Clint Blome of Lincoln; sister, Juanita Mayer of Gering and brother, George Blome of Wheatland, WY. He was preceded in death by his parents.
