Kathy Jo. Stackhouse, 58, of East Stroudsburg, died Monday, June 13, in Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg. She was the loving wife of Grant E. Stackhouse. They would have celebrated 40 years of marriage this July 9.

Born in East Stroudsburg, she was the daughter of the late Joseph D. and Mary Rose (Margretta) Stout.

A lifelong resident of the Monroe County area, she was employed at Stout Floor & Maintenance Company of East Stroudsburg for the past 10 years.

She was of the Catholic faith, attending St. Matthew's and St. Luke's Catholic churches throughout her life.

Kathy was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and enjoyed spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Grant D. Stackhouse and his wife, Tracy, and Joseph R. Stackhouse, all of East Stroudsburg; one brother, Joseph R. Stout of East Stroudsburg; and three grandchildren, Ashley Jorden, Chelsea Kathlina and Travis Marshall. She was preceded in death by one brother, Russell Stout; and one sister, Judith Walsh.
