"EDWARD M. HOPKINS DEAD
Edward M. Hopkins, well known in financial circles, died at his residence, No. 1615 Walnut street, on Friday. Mr. Hopkins' active business connection before his retirement, twenty-five years ago, was with the New York Stock market, he being a leading member of that exchange. An attack of grip a year ago, from which he never fully recovered, was the cause of his death. A son and five daughters survive him."
