Ruth K. Snyder, 96, Laurelbrooke Landing, Brookville, died Monday at McKinley Health Center in Brookville.

Born April 1, 1912, in Brookville, she was daughter of the late George and Lottye Kroh Kunselman. She was married to LaVerne Snyder. He preceded her in death. She married Lawrence Kirk. He preceded her in death.

She worked as a machine operator for B.F. Goodrich in Dubois and also for Best Western Motel and the Dubois Courier before retiring. She attended the Emerickville United Methodist Church and was a member of the Laurelbrooke Peer organization (Pennsylvania Empowered Expert Residents) in Brookville.

She enjoyed being outdoors, planting flowers and a vegetable garden with her dogs, sewing and knitting.

She is survived by one brother, Harry Kunselman of Reynoldsville; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Ernestine E. Kelly; one grandson, Wm. R. Kelly; one brother, Kenneth Kunselman; and four sisters; Agness Milliron, Parma Conrad, Lois Ohles and Mary Goble.

Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens, Ridgway. Memorial donations may be may to the Emerickville United Methodist Church, Brookville.
