Passed away June 12, 2012 at the age of 65. John was born September 15, 1946 in Kalamazoo to the late Snead and Clara (Rathbun) Lacy. He was united in marriage to Joyce Tuttle on September 13, 1963, Joyce survives. Snead was a proud and longtime member of the Harley Owner's group (HOG) in Kalamazoo. John was a loving husband and father and a proud grandpa (Papa) as well. He was employed with Crown Vantage for 34 years and then with AM Todd Company where he retired. Surviving John are his children, Julie (Rick) Russell of Allendale, MI, Michael (Lori) Lacy of Holland, MI, Stephen (Jennifer) Lacy of Kalamazoo, Wayne (Patricia) Lacy of Lansing and Eliza Williams of Kalamazoo; eight granddaughters; two step grandsons; sister Alice (Sudhir) Prasad; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place Friday, 10:00 o'clock at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St., where family will greet friends on Thursday from 5:00 -8:00pm. Interment will follow at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park South. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed in John's name to Hospice of S.W. Michigan or to West Michigan Cancer Center.
