Wilfred A Longtin, 79 of 125 Riverside Drive in Bay State, died Thursday at his home.
Born in Springfield May 8, 1906 he was the son of the late Napoleon and Mary (Young) Longtin.
Longtin was a porter for the eletro-optical division of the Kollmorgen Corp. for 17 years before retiring in 1972.
He had lived in Northampton nearly all of his life.
Longtin was a member of the Golden Age Club.
He is survived by his wife Lydia M. (Vanasse) Longtin, a son Richard N Longtin of South Deerfield; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be tomorrow at 9:15 a.m. from the John F O'Connell Funeral Home. There will be liturgy of christian burial at the Blessed Sacrament Church at 10 a.m.
Burial will be in St Mary's Cemetery.
