Rita A. Bean 1955 - 2012 LUDLOW - Rita A. "Rit" (Record) Bean, 57, of Ludlow died Friday, April 27, 2012 at Baystate Medical Center, Springfield of cancer. Born in Springfield, April 2, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Margaret (Toby) Record. Rita lived most of her life in Indian Orchard moving to Ludlow two years ago. She worked at Springfield Municipal Hospital for 23 years, retiring in 1997. Rita was a member of St. Jude's Church in Indian Orchard. She loved playing bingo and listening to 1970's music. She also enjoyed scratch tickets and playing Keno at the Community Center. Rita leaves her husband of 24 years, Bruce H. Bean, two aunts, Shirley Chechile of Agawam and Linda Toby of Springfield, two cousins, Loretta Toby of Springfield and Gail Martins of Ludlow. She was predeceased by her brother Henry Record Jr. in 1999. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 3rd, at 11 am at Ratell Funeral Home 200 Main St. Indian Orchard. Visitation will precede the service from 10-11 am. Burial in St. Aloysius Cemetery.
