Dorothy L. Hall, 82, of Fairington Apartments, mother of Charles and Clarence Robert Young, both of Columbus, died at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Bartholomew County Hospital. Mrs. Hall was a member of Women of the Moose and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. She attended Sixth Street Baptist Church. Funeral service will be conducted by the Rev. Roger Lee at 1 p.m. Thursday at Reed and Jewell Funeral Home, where calling hours will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until service time on Thursday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Sixth Street Baptist Church.

Born Aug. 21, 1904, in Armstrong County, Pa., Mrs. Hall was the daughter of Adam and Della Keeler Harkleroad. She was preceded in death by her first husband, James B. Young, and was the widow of Forrest O. Hall, who died July 13, 1979. Other survivors include two other sons, J. Young of Worthington, Pa., and James R. Young of Columbus, Ohio; a daughter, Ruth Allen of Kittanning, Pa.; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
