Obituary - Mrs. Jean Coolidge died on Saturday evening at her home on Handsome Avenue, Sayville, at the age of 84 years.
She was the widow of Ernest Hall Coolidge and the daughter of the late Senator John Thurston, close friend and advisor to President McKinley.
She was a member of the Sayville Congregational Church and of the Women's Fellowship of that Church.
Surviving are her daughters, Mrs. Charles Giriat of Levittown, NY, and Mrs. Elwell Cobb of Sayville, and five grandchildren.
Services were held at Raynor's Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Trevor Hausske on Monday followed by interment in Union Cemetery, Sayville.
