Eric is the youngest of the seven children born to his parents. He comes to the U.S. in 1918, as a single man, age 18, and settles in Minneapolis, where his older siblings have also come. On June 21, 1921, he marries Lillian Peterson. They have three kids together, Douglas, Audrey and Bonita. Eric Djerf works as an electrician. He dies in Florida in 1972, but is buried in Minneapolis, MN.
