American motion picture actor and stuntman, known as Ed Brandenburg, for the Hal Roach Film Studio in the silent and early sound film period. He appeared in 48 films and performed stunts in 11 from 1922 to 1940. First appearing in "One Terrible Day" a Little Rascals film and his last acting film in 1938 in "Block-Heads" that starred Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy. His last film "Go West" (1940) he stunt doubled for Chico Marx.

In the 1940s, he was part-owner of Club Alabam, a nightclub in Los Angeles, along with jazz bandleader Curtis Mosby, who also served as host. [Source: Daily News (Los Angeles, California)22 Apr 1943, Thu Page 22]

His brother Chet Brandenburg, also an actor and stuntman appeared in 17 films together.
