Mrs. Jean Sutherland Randle, 32, wife of Harry Randle of Eureka, died this morning at the home of a sisters, Mrs. Robert Reid, Provo, after a two months' illness from heart trouble. Mrs. Randle came here a month ago for medical treatment and was confined in a Salt lake City hospital for a month prior to that.
She was born May 8, 1906 in Provo, a daughter of Fred and LaDelle Allen Sutherland. She attended school here and was graduated from the Provo high school in 1925, after which she studied nursing at St. Mark's hospital in Salt Lake City for two years. She was married to Mr. Randle, April 11, 1927 in Provo and had lived in Eureka since that time. She was a past matron of the Eastern Star at Eureka.
Besides her husband and parents she is survived by two daughters, Virginia and Lois Randle; two brothers, Leo A. Sutherland, Salt Lake City, and Frederick Sutherland, Pico, California; two sisters, Mrs. Robert Reid and Mrs. Karl Scherer of Provo.
Christian Science funeral services will be held Sunday at 9:30 a.m. at the home of Karl Scherer. Services will also be held at 1 p.m. at the Methodist church in Eureka, under the direction of the Eastern Star. Interment will be in the Provo City Burial Park.
