She loved to golf with her husband and friends following her retirement from the Speech and Hearing Department of the Ogden City Schools, where she had worked for many years.
She created a beautiful home for her family and was an amazing cook. She had a fine eye for décor and fashion. She loved her family dearly and supported them throughout their lives. She was so proud of her children and grandchildren and their accomplishments.
She is survived by her three children: Norma (Alan) Peterson of Boise, Idaho, Abe Blair (Chris) Murdock of Mountain Green, and John Riggs (Peggy) Murdock of Fruit Heights; 12 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren and one brother, Lear A. Summerill of Ogden. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; three sisters; two brothers and a granddaughter.
The family extends their heartfelt thanks to Ann Fawcett of Inspiration Hospice for her tender attention to our needs.
Per our mother's wishes, no funeral services will be held. Interment will be in the Ogden City Cemetery, Monday, February 6th at 11 a.m.
