Mrs. Nellie Mabel REED, 90, a former Fulton resident, died at 11:15 a.m. Sunday in Canterbury Manor nursing home. Mrs. Reed was born Jan. 20, 1889 in Fulton county to Brenton and Mary DOUD. She had lived her lifetime in Fulton county. She was married to Otto G. REED on Feb. 12, 1905 in Fulton. He died Feb. 14, 1973. She was a member of the Fulton United Methodist church and had taught Sunday school there for many years. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Charles (Gwendolyn) BERKSHIRE, Kokomo; three grandsons; a great-grandson; a great-great-granddaughter, and a brother, Archie DOUD, Monticello. Six brothers and three sisters preceded in death. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Zimmerman Brothers funeral home, Fulton, with the Rev. John LOUTHAIN officiating. Burial will be in the Fulton cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 2-8 p.m. and Thursday until the hour of service.
