Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Ditmire-Davidson funeral home at Fulton for Mrs. Ella NICHOLS, 89, who died Sunday at 6:35 p.m. in a Peru nursing home after two months' illness. The Rev. Stacy SHAW will officiate at rites and burial will be in the Fulton cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today Born Nov. 29, 1872, she formerly lived in Liberty township and in Peru. She was married to William NICHOLS, who died in 1946. Two sons and one daughter also preceded in death. Mrs. Nichols was a member of the First Baptist church of Elkhart. Surviving are two grandsons, Dr. Robert SMITH, Lowell, and Jack SMITH, Pine River, Minn., and several great-grandchildren.
