He was was the third child of David Oliver and Mary Johnson Adkison.

ADKINSON. Little Oliver was a native of Sonoma County, where many
friends of the parents resided. Born in Virginia City Nevada in Oct. 1863

He died in Virginia City of infant fever on Sept 11th 1864 at 11 months + 20 days of age.
He was buried in the Virginia City Cemetery with a simple sandstone marker on his tiny grave. It has had the top smashed off by vandals but the stone is still standing. His older sister Juliet 1856-1866 is buried not far from him.
