Marie L. Kubale Marie Laney Kubale, 82, of 222 ,N. Second St. died today at her home. Born on Sept. 20, 1901, in Smackover, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Martha Saxon Laney. She was a graduate of Lindenwood College, in St. Louis. She came to Danville in 1929, when her husband, the late Edwin Kubale Sr., when he was named Centre College football coach. She was a member of The Presbyterian Church. Survivors include two sons, Edwin and Rube Travis Kubale, both of Boyle County; six grandchildren; and two greatgrandchildren. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Stith Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Marie L. Kubale Services for Marie, Laney Kubale, 82, of 222 N. Second St. will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Stith Funeral Home by the Revs. Douglas Slagle and Al Thomas. Pallbearers will be Robert Bright Jr., Thomas B. Bright, Bruce Montgomery, Ed Kubale III, Travis L. Kubale, James F. Kubale, Robert Pendygraft and Rick Rutherford. Mrs. Kubale died Monday at her home. Visitation is at the funeral home from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.
