Wanda (Soltys) Beaudin, 93, formerly of 28 Main St., passed away on January 9th in Long-meadow. She was the wife of the late Alvin Beaudin. She leaves her sons Donald and his wife Mary of Landaff of NH, Kenneth of Gilbertville, her daughters Barbara Barrett and her husband Roger of Bloomington MN, and Marsha Dowling of Bristol CT, her grandchildren, Kelly Kuchia, Courtney Dowling, Paul and Michele Beaudin, and Gene and James Barrett, her great grandchildren Christopher and Caroline Kuchia, as well as many nephews and nieces. She was born in Three Rivers daughter of Walenty and Tekla Soltys and had lived in Gilbertville since 1946. She worked as a silk screen printer for the former Gilbertville Mills Inc. She was a communicant of St. Aloysius Church , where she was a member of the choir, and was a long time volunteer maintaining the gardens around the church. She was a generous person to family, friends and charities. Wanda had a passion for music and loved playing her harmonica. She was an excellent cook, and was a member of the former VFW Auxiliary in Gilbertville. Funeral services will be held on Friday January 13th from the Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant St, Ware with a Mass at 10am in St. Aloysius Church, Church St. in Gilbertville. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Calling Hours will be held on Thursday from 5 to 8 pm.
