Charlcy I. Green, 90, of Sherwood passed away Tuesday, December 20th at the Hospice Home Care of Little Rock. She was born October 2nd, 1921 in Marion, Louisiana to the late James M. Oliver and Mary Katherine Smith.

After moving to Little Rock when she was 18, she enjoyed a long career with and eventually retiring from the Missouri Pacific Railroad. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Levy Chapter #577. She was a member of the Absolutely Fabulously Friendly Little Rockers chapter of the Red Hatters.

Charlcy loved to crochet and frequently donated afghans and caps to the Arkansas Children's Hospital. She held season tickets to the Arkansas Chamber Singers and Murray's Dinner Playhouse. She was active with the Jack Evans Senior Citizens Center where she was a competitive player of cards and dominos. She was a member of the 1st Assembly of God in North Little Rock and was active with the Keenagers where she enjoyed trips with friends to destinations like Niagara Falls and the Grand Canyon.

Charlcy was full of life, sharp of mind, and quick of wit. She never missed an opportunity to have fun. Her smile and laughter will be missed by her extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be Friday, December 23rd, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, located at: 7724 Landers Rd. in North Little Rock, with burial to follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
