Richard J. Mahon, 67, of Thompson, Conn., died March 19, 2004 in the Veterans Administration Medical Center Providence, R.I. He was a retired Presidential Secret Service agent and US Army investigator. He is survived by a son, John R. Mahon of Marlboro; a daughter, Theresa J. Klingler of Sterling; his close companion, Jeannine Dalpe of Conn.; three brothers, David and James Mahon in Conn. and Edmund Mahon in Col.; a sister, Shirley Gauthier in Conn.; five grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Daniel V. Mahon in 2003. A memorial Mass was held March 27 in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Worcester.
