Mrs. Delia (Leahy) Leahy of 93 Pine St., widow of Thomas Leahy, died at her home Saturday after a long illness. She was born in County Cork, Ireland, and had been a resident of Springfield for the past 60 years. She was a member of the Married Ladies Sodality of St. Michael's Cathedral. She leaves one son, Thomas F. Leahy of this city, and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held from the Hannigan funeral home Tuesday morning at 8:15, followed by a solemn high mass of requiem in St. Michael's Cathedral at 9. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery.

The funeral of Mrs. Delia Leahy of 93 Pine St. was Tuesday morning at the Hannigan funeral home with a solemn requiem high mass held in St. Michael's Cathedral. Celebrant was Rev. Timothy J. Leary, Rev. D. Robert H. Stafford was deacon, and Rev. John T. MacPherson, subdeacon, Rev. Francis E. Donnellan, S.S.F., was seated in the sancuary. Bearers were: Robert, Thomas and Joseph Wynne, John Leahy, John and Walter Higgins. Burial was in St. Michael's Cemetery with Rev. Robert T. Sullivan reciting committal prayers at the grave.
