Loretta Belle Wasson was born Sept. 28, 1889 at Del Norte, Colorado. She died March 9, 1932. She was the oldest child of Amos and Nancy Benson.
Loretta was united in marriage to Samuel Brown on Aug. 16, 1911 and he died Nov. 29, 1918. To this union were born two daughters: Maybelle Estella and Dorothy.
She was united in marriage to Lawrence A. Wasson on April 18, 1829 at Del Norte, Colorado. Six children were born to this union: Melbourn Thomas, who died March 9, 1921; Margaret Ann; Marvin Amos; Nellie Marie; Carolee and Cleo Loretta.
The deceased leaves to mourn, her husband and children; her father and step-mother, Mr. and Mrs. A.V. Benson; two sisters, Mrs. Vasco Stone of Del Norte and Mrs. Estella Thomas of La Prairie, Illinois; a step-sister, Mrs. Hattie Evans; and two step-brothers, Elmer and Omer Underwood.
