Barbara Russ Bryan, of Roanoke, born November 9, 1933, in Roanoke, Virginia, died December 13, 2010. She was predeceased by her parents, Harold F. and Dorothy Lowe Russ. She is survived by her husband, Malcolm W. Bryan, III; two daughters, Cynthia Scott Ries and her husband, Kenneth J., and Katherine Lee Scott; four grandsons, Nathaniel Scott Ries, Benjamin Alden Ries, James Scott Dalton and Michael Russ Dalton; and two great-grandsons. Barbara was a 1951 graduate of Jefferson Senior High School. She proudly served as the Regent of the Margaret Lynn Lewis Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and was a member of the National Society of the Magna Carta Dames and the National Society of the Colonial Dames of the Seventeenth Century.
