Frank Case died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. F. A. Ashby of Villa Grove, Colorado, on May 6, 1932, at age 87.
Frank came to Del Norte as an early settler and was said to be one of the oldest living residents of the valley at the time of his death. He served as town marshall of Del Norte and was identified with several businesses during the time he resided here.
His remains were returned to Del Norte for burial in the Del Norte cemetery and funeral services were held at the M.E. Church Monday, May 9.
He is survived by his wife, four sons and two daughters, including Mrs. F. A. Ashby; his sons, Marion, B.M., Allen, and Arch Case of Denver; and his grandson, Lloyd Case of Montrose and nephew, C.Y. Wagner of Salida.
