Louis GROESBECK JR was a Lumberman in Warren and had a sawmill in 1870, Farmer & Macomb County Sheriff Lived Warren TWP. Mound just to the north of Twelve Mile Roads. He was also politically active. He was Township Clerk 1954-1956 Township Supervisor (Equivalent to Mayor)1860-1863 1865-1867 1871-1879 His election as Sheriff in 1880 caused the family to move to Mount Clemens. Macomb, and later moved to Detroit Michigan

He was also a lumberman.
