She was a social reform leader; organized the first juvenile court in Arkansas in 1910; pioneer in Head Start program; honorary LLD degree granted by the University of Arkansas in 1970; instrumental in founding of Little Rock Public Library. The Adolphine Fletcher Terry Library on Napa Drive in Little Rock is named in her honor.
In the 1960s Adolphine and her sister, Mary Drennan, gave the family home, the Pike-Fletcher-Terry House, to the Arkansas Arts Center. The home is currently being used for special events and exhibitions.
