Thomas Jefferson Boggs was an early California pioneer, he crossed the plains with his wife & sons during the California Gold Rush. He was born in Kentucky, raised in Missouri, and died in Healdsburg, Sonoma County, California. His father was John McKinley Boggs and his mother was Mary Oliver, his brother was Lilburn Williams Boggs the Governor of Missouri. Thomas Jefferson Boggs was husband to Sophia Barnes-Boggs, father to Abiel Leonard Boggs and James Barnes Boggs.
Thomas was a lawyer, a member of the first California Congress, a devoted husband, and a loving father.
