She was a former employee of Brown Shoe, a homemaker and a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.
Services were Thursday in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home with the Rev. James Combs officiating.
Burial was in McCorkle Cemetery in Newbern.
