George W. Zorn passed away at St. Luke's Hospital early Tuesday morning after a lengthy illness. Age 85 years. He was born Feb. 13, 1874 in Saginaw County, where he had been a lifelong resident. He married Caroline Steltzriede on May 31, 1896. She survives him. They resided at their present home since their marriage. He had been engaged in the market gardening business nearly all of his life. He was active in community affairs, and served for many years as treasurer of the Otto School. The deceased was a life member of the Holy Cross Lutheran Church, and served for many years on its Board of Elders until his health forced him to resign.

Besides his wife, he leaves one son and five daughters, Martin Zorn, Mrs. Lenora Ledtke, Mrs. Walter Kluck, Mrs. Herman H. Bickel, Mrs. Clarence L. Stroebel, and Mrs. Harold F. Buckle, all living in and near Saginaw; 13 grandchildren; 24 great grand-children; also two brothers, Leonard and Harry Zorn, both of Saginaw...burial in the Holy Cross Cemetery...
