Mrs. Gould Dies; Was Longs' Niece (Special to the Town Talk) Hodge, LA -- Mrs. Martha Hunt Gould, 44, a native of Hodge and former resident of Ruston, died Thursday in a Long Beach, Calif, hospital after a long illness. She was a niece of the late Den. Huey P. Long and the late Gov. Earl K. Long. She is survived by her husband, Ray O. Gould; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Hunt of Ruston; a brother, John S. Hunt of Monroe; four sons, John, Ray, Stewart S. and Hunt Gould, all of Long Beach, Calif.; two aunts, Mrs. Clara Knott of Many, and Mrs. Olive Cooper of Natchitoches; and an uncle, Julius T. Long of Shreveport. Funeral services and burial were to be held at 3 p.m. today in Long Beach, Calif.
