Marilynn Wherry Latta, 85, of Memphis, Tenn., formerly of Chattanooga, Tenn. and Martinsville, Va., passed away January 18, 2011 at St. Francis Hospital. Marilynn was born in Pawnee City, Nebraska to Senator and Mrs. Kenneth Spicer Wherry.
She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church and a sister of P.E.O. She was a graduate of George Washington University.
Marilynn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Burr Latta, and a grandson, John Burr Latta.
