Survived by four sons, Henry Clay, Jr., Edinburg, Texas, and Fenter [Senter], DeWitt, and Marshall Searcy, all of Dallas; one daughter, Mary Julia Searcy. Funeral services, chapel of Sparkman-Holtz-Brand Thursday 4 p. m., Rev. George C. French officiating. Interment Grove Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. H. Clay Searcy, 55, died Wednesday as the 4th victim of the storm which swept Oak Cliff Sunday afternoon. Her son, I. G. Searcy, 22, former Sunset High School football player, was the first fatality of the tornado when he was crushed to death in the collapse of the Searcy home at 1536 Hampton Road.
Mrs. Searcy and her daughter, Mary Julia, who was only slightly hurt, were in each other's arms when the storm struck. The son was running up the stairway to get his mother, and all were caught under the debris.
Double funeral services for Mrs. Searcy and her son will be held at 4 p. m. Thursday at Sparkman-Holtz-Brand Funeral Home. The Rev. George C. French will officiate. Burial will be in Grove Hill Cemetery.
