Mrs. Macko was born in Canada and lived in Syracuse most of her life.
She was the head seamstress for DeBank Henward for 15 years and was self-employed for 20 years at the Macko Grocery on Brighton Avenue.
She was a member of Onondaga Senior Citizens and a communicant of St. James Church.
Surviving are her husband of 54 years, Michael; two sons, Ronald of Camillus and Richard of Liverpool; a brother, Rosaire Lemery of Connecticut; and four grandchildren.
Services are 10:15 a.m. Wednesday at Hollis Funeral Home and 11 a.m. in St. James Church. Burial is in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt.
Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home, 1105 W. Genesee St.
