"Death of Mr. Fred Dose

Mr. Fred Dose, father of H. C. Dose of this city, died Sunday afternoon, aged 71 years and 9 months. Deceased was born in Germany and in his early manhood came to Wisconsin. In 1869 he settled in Sheboygan in that state, where he resided until the middle of last October. At that time he came with his wife to make his home with his son in this city.

Evidently the boarding up of the old home had serious effect on the elderly people, for the mother died within a few weeks after arriving here, and now the father...

Besides the son, he leaves two daughters, Mrs. Zelle of this city and Mrs. Jenson of Sheboygan, Wisconsin.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Chittenden's Undertaking parlors, Rev. Mr. Arney preaching the funeral sermon."
