Native of County Called By Death
Clement J. Oman, 77, Findlay route 3, died at 10:40 a.m. Sunday at his son's home in Biglick township of a complication of diseases after an illness of three years.
He was born March 3, 1875 in Eagle township, a son of John and Elizabeth (Powell) Oman. He lived in the county all his life.
On Feb. 4, 1897, he married Angeline S. Decker and she died April 17, 1946. There were two children born, and one, Clayton J. Oman, Findlay route 3, survives. A son, Moses, died at birth.
A sister, Mrs. H. H. Denhart, and a brother, Norton D. Oman, East Lima street, are also living. Two brothers preceded him in death. There are three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
For many years he was a member of the St. Paul's EUB church.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the church, the Rev. C. Dwight Osborn officiating. Burial will be in Van Horn cemetery. The body was taken to the Coldren funeral home where it will remain until time for the services.
