Mary Evelyn Ong died Saturday, October 12, 2002 at Mt. Diablo Medical Center in Concord, CA. Born April 4, 1931 to Leamon E. and Jewel E. 'Blaylock' Lick in Los Angeles, Ca. Mrs. Ong lived in Antioch and Pittsburg for 54 years. She was a homemaker and co-owner of Jack's Market in Bay Point. She was an avid Giants and 49er fan. She enjoyed spending time with her family and enjoyed collecting John Wayne memorabilia.
She is survived by her husband Jack Ong; daughters Teri Dunham and Lori Ong; sons Jeffrey and Gregory Ong; brother Leamon Lick; 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2002 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM and Thursday, October 17, 2002 from 12:00 Noon to 5:00PM with a Funeral Service at 5:00PM, all at Pittsburg Funeral Chapel, 2295 Railroad Ave., Pittsburg.
