Moro, Lily Elizabeth

Lily Elizabeth Moro of Calgary, formerly of Eckville, AB passed away at the Mayfair Care Centre on Saturday, October 30, 2004 at the age of 93 years.

Lily had a love for the outdoors and enjoyed gardening, camping and a nice drive in the country. She also enjoyed knitting.

Lily is survived by her children and their spouses, Norman and Lorraine Moro of Calgary; Alice and Calvin Kenzle of Creston, BC; and Clarence Moro of Edmonton. She is also survived by her grandchildren and their spouses Susan and Ken Lawrence of Austin, TX, Alexis and David Johnston of Okotoks, AB, Carolyn and Dave Cousins, Pamela and Bart deJourdan, Gary and Karen Moro, all of Calgary; Wendy Phillips of Edmonton, and Cindy Paiva of Prince George, BC. Lily is also survived by her five great-grandchildren, Daniel, Payton, Ireland, Hudson Moro, and Haley deJourdan. Lily was predeceased by her husband August Moro, who was the first person to supply electricity to the town of Eckville, AB.

An internment will follow at a later date at the Eckville Cemetery in Eckvile, AB. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
